4. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?
- Consent given by the Client – for these purposes, a consent form for the use of the Client’s data will be presented, and such consent may be withdrawn at any time;
- The conclusion and/or performance of a contract with the Client;
- Compliance with legal obligations to which Talents is subject;

- The establishment, exercise, or defense of a right in judicial proceedings involving the Client, Talents, or a third party.
5. With whom may your personal data be shared?
The Client’s personal data may be disclosed to:
- Service providers engaged by Talents;
- Talents’ partners.
The Client’s personal data may also be processed by companies subcontracted by third-party service providers engaged by Talents, namely for website hosting, email services, responding to user inquiries about services, sending information about new services and products, and special offers. These companies are provided only with the personal data necessary for the provision of the relevant service.
Talents may also transfer or disclose personal data in order to comply with its obligations to Public Administration authorities, where required under the legislation in force at any given time, and, where applicable, to other bodies such as State Security Forces, Law Enforcement Authorities, and Judicial Authorities.
6. What are the Clients’ rights?
Talents informs the Client of their right to exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability of personal data, and restriction of processing.
1) Right of Access
The data subject has the right to obtain from Talents confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them is being processed and, where that is the case, to access their personal data and consult the information provided for by law.
Where processing is based on the Client’s consent and is carried out by automated means, the Client has the right to receive the personal data previously provided, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
If the Client requests more than one copy of their personal data undergoing processing, Talents may subject this service to the payment of a fee corresponding to the associated administrative costs charged by third-party service providers engaged by Talents.
2) Right to Rectification
The data subject has the right to obtain from Talents, without undue delay, the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data concerning them.
3) Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”)
The data subject has the right to request that Talents erase their personal data without undue delay. Talents is obliged to erase such data when one of the following grounds applies, in particular:
- The personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or processed;
- The data subject has withdrawn their consent for the processing of personal data (where processing is based on consent) and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
- The data subject objects to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate interests that justify the processing.
4) Right to Object
The data subject has the right to object at any time, and for an unlimited period, for reasons relating to their particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning them.
5) Right to Data Portability
If the processing is based on the data subject’s consent and such consent has been given by automated means, the data subject has the right to receive the personal data concerning them that they have provided to Talents, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
6) Right to Restriction of Processing
The data subject has the right to obtain from Talents the restriction of processing if one of the following situations applies:
- They contest the accuracy of the personal data, during a period that allows Talents to verify its accuracy;
- The processing of data is unlawful and the data subject opposes its erasure and requests, instead, the restriction of its use;
- Talents no longer needs the personal data for processing purposes, but the data is required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise, or defense of a right in judicial proceedings;
- The Client has objected to the processing, until it is verified that the legitimate grounds of the data controller override those of the data subject.
Personal data will be processed with particular care to ensure and enforce the rights mentioned above. The Client may be requested to provide proof of identity to guarantee that data is shared only with the respective data subject. If the Client wishes to exercise any of the rights listed above, Talents will review the request and respond within a reasonable time, in any case no longer than one month. In case of dissatisfaction, the Client also has the right to lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission, the supervisory authority.
7. Can previously given consent be withdrawn?
If consent is legally required for the processing of personal data, the data subject has the right to withdraw that consent at any time. However, this right does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out based on consent previously given, nor the subsequent processing of the same data when based on another legal ground, such as the performance of a contract or compliance with a legal obligation to which Talents is subject.
If the Client wishes to withdraw their consent, they should contact Talents by letter, telephone, or at the following email address: hello@talentsagency.ae .
8. What security measures do we have in place?
Talents is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of personal data and fulfilling its duty to safeguard it, adopting the necessary measures to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, or access, in accordance with applicable legislation.
Talents has implemented the necessary technical and organizational security measures to ensure the protection of personal data and to prevent its alteration, loss, and unauthorized processing and/or access, taking into account the state of technology, the nature of the data stored, and the risks to which it is exposed, whether caused by human action or by the physical or natural environment, in compliance with applicable law.
As an organization committed to privacy, Talents continuously supervises, monitors, and evaluates its processes to ensure respect for privacy and information security, in accordance with international standards, thereby reinforcing the confidentiality and integrity of information within the organization.
Notwithstanding the above, the Client should be aware that the use of websites and the transmission of information via electronic means may, potentially, be subject to unauthorized access by third parties.
9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
Talents may modify its Privacy Policy in accordance with the applicable legislation at any given time. In any case, any changes to the Privacy Policy will be properly communicated to the Client so that they are informed of alterations in the processing of their personal data and, where required by applicable law, so that the Client can provide their consent.
Cookies
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information that a user’s device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) downloads when visiting a website. They allow the website to “remember” your device, but not specifically who is using it, and help improve the user experience. By linking the identification numbers in the cookies to other information about the client—for example, when logging into the website—it becomes possible to know that the cookie information refers to you.

2. What is the purpose of cookies?
Cookies are generally used for various purposes, such as allowing the user to navigate between pages efficiently, implementing user preferences, and, in general, improving the browsing experience by personalizing the website according to the user’s navigation and profile. They can also help ensure that the online advertisements the user sees are more relevant to them and their interests.
3. What cookies do we use?
Our website uses various types of cookies for different purposes, as explained in Section 4, “Categories of Cookies on talentsagency.ae.”
In particular, we use:
a) Session cookies, which last only for a single browsing session. They are typically used to facilitate access to the services on our website and to authenticate you if you are a registered member;
b) Persistent cookies, which last beyond a single visit. They are used to remember a user’s preferences and actions on the site. In this case, when a user returns to our website, or visits websites that use the same cookies, the site reads the cookies and identifies the user’s browser. Among these cookies, we can distinguish:
b.1) First-party cookies, which are provided by the website you are visiting, i.e., talents.pt, and can only be read by that site. First-party cookies can be session or persistent cookies.
b.2) Third-party cookies, which are intended to collect data anonymously, for example, analytical information including browsing statistics. Other third-party cookies are used to track our visitors’ responses to our online promotional activities. This technology uses information about your visits to our website and third-party sites where we advertise to provide relevant ads. We also use it to identify which ads bring visitors to our website. Like the previous ones, these cookies can be session or persistent.
4. Categories of cookies on the talentsagency.ae website
The types of cookies used on our website may fall into one of the categories below.
A – Technical Cookies
Based on the Guidelines of the Portuguese Data Protection Authority regarding the simplification of the procedure for disclosing the data protection notice and obtaining consent for cookies, technical cookies include navigation or session cookies, analytical cookies, and functionality cookies.
We do not need your consent to use these cookies.
A.1: Navigation or Session Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary and essential to allow you to navigate the website and use its core features, such as accessing secure areas of the site. These cookies include session authentication cookies. Without these cookies, necessary services, such as shopping carts or billing, cannot be provided. We can identify you as being logged in to talents.pt and ensure that you can access the appropriate features on our website.
If you choose to disable these cookies, you will not be able to use our site for purchases, but you will still be able to browse it. We also use a cookie to track whether the user has been informed about our use of profiling cookies and has given consent (if applicable).
A.2: Analytics
These cookies are also known as performance cookies and collect information about how you use our website so that we can improve the quality of our site and services. Some examples include the pages you visit most frequently and whether you receive error messages from web pages. Performance cookies allow us to implement these choices and optimize how our website functions. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated and therefore does not collect personally identifiable information.
These types of cookies can be first-party or third-party and include analytics that allow us to obtain statistics about website access and navigation, monitor the origin of our users, help us improve the site by measuring usage information and any errors that occur during the browsing experience, as well as evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, using aggregated information.
A.3: Functionality Cookies
Functionality cookies allow the website to remember your online settings (such as your username, language, or location) and provide enhanced and more personalized features.
These cookies can also be used to remember changes made to text size, fonts, and other parts of the web page that you may customize. They can also be used to provide requested services or to prevent you from receiving services you have already declined.
These types of cookies can be first-party or third-party.
By choosing features and services, you agree to the use of the related functionality cookie.
B – Profiling Cookies
These cookies, which include advertising and targeting cookies, are used by Talents, our advertising providers, and/or third parties to provide you with a personalized browsing experience, delivering ads that are relevant to you and your interests on third-party websites. Cookies are used to identify your preferences and analyze your interactions and online transactions with us. This information is exclusively for Talents’ benefit and will not be shared with third parties, except with Talents’ service providers for processing purposes on our behalf.
Under certain circumstances, especially if you are logged into your account, we may combine the data collected through cookies with your personal data for the purposes described above, unless you have explicitly opted out of such processing and chosen not to accept these types of cookies. Please refer to our privacy policy for full details on how we may process your personal data in such circumstances.
Among the many types of advertising or targeting cookies, we may use Flash Cookies and Pixel Tags:
a) Flash Cookies: We may also use local shared objects, known as Flash Cookies, to store your preferences. The amount and type of information collected through Flash Cookies, and how they function, is different from browser cookies. Please note that browser tools for managing cookies will not remove Flash Cookies. To disable Flash Cookies, please use the configuration tool provided by Flash Player: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager02.html .
b) Pixel Tags: If you have agreed to be tracked and/or have a profile created, we may use other tracking technologies (e.g., web beacons, clear GIFs) in the communications we send. Their purpose may be to determine whether you have read or opened the email, whether you interacted with any link (for example, by clicking it), and if so, which links. This information may be combined with other information we collect about you to help us deliver communications that are more relevant to you, based on your browsing and shopping experience.
You can read more about the third-party cookie policies whose profiling cookies are used on our website by clicking here.
We need your consent to use profiling cookies. At any time, you can manage your advertising or targeting cookie preferences through your browser settings, as explained in Section 6 below, or by enabling/disabling all third-party cookies as described in Section 7 below.
5. Information Sharing
We do not share the information collected through the use of cookies and pixel tags with third parties, except with our advertising agencies/providers and our IT service providers (e.g., hosting providers), solely for the purposes described above.
6. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences
At any time, you have the option to accept or refuse the use of cookies/pixel tags by changing your browser settings.
Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can configure them to alert you whenever a cookie/pixel tag is being sent and/or to prevent it from being accepted. In most browsers, the “Help” section of the toolbar will provide information on how to block cookies, how to set the browser to notify you when cookies/pixel tags are received, or how to completely disable cookies/pixel tags.
Below are pages that describe these settings in more detail for each browser:
If you use multiple browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.), you will need to repeat this procedure for each one. Additionally, if you access the web from multiple devices (e.g., from work and at home), you will need to set your preferences in each browser on each device.
Please note that if you completely disable browser cookies, some parts of our website may not function properly, such as normal site navigation and shopping activities. You may also lose any personalized activity, for example, the advertising you see on this site may no longer be tailored to your interests.
